We love that we can offer our beautiful studio space to other creatives! Whether you're local or just passing through, our space has a lot of unique offerings that provide an elevated experience for you and any possible clients you may be bringing.

Studio Rental Inclusions:
Studio Rental Pricing & Availability:
- Full Studio Space (1,800 sq.ft.)
- Backdrops (Black, Grey, White & Tan)
- Minimalist chairs/props
- Dressing Room (*recently renovated!)
- Bluetooth Speaker
- Kitchenette/Media Room (Sink, Mini Fridge, Water Station & Coffee Pot)
- Manager on staff to answer questions
Studio Rental Pricing & Availability:
- $60 for 30 minute session
- $400 for a Half Day (4 hrs)
- The Studio is available for rent Monday through Friday 9am-5pm.
- Add on our in-studio lighting setup for $250

Where are you located?
We are two blocks from the St. Croix river at 123 2nd St. N. in Stillwater, MN. Feel free to set up a tour of the studio if you'd like to view the space before you reserve your rental with us.
Do you ensure a soundproof space for video recording?
Studio J is located in bustling downtown Stillwater, so there is always the possibility of noise from the outside world that we cannot control. However, we do own the event venue located directly above the studio. Should you need absolute quiet, we can accommodate as long as it's okayed in advance. We do charge additional for this service as it requires us to turn down business in the venue upstairs.
Do you have studio lighting available for purchase?
Yes! All of the lights in the studio are available as a $250 add on to your rental package. We do recommend you ensure your camera is compatible with the following equipment before adding this to your booking.
Do you have restrooms?
We do! Restrooms are just down the hall from the studio.
Can we design/bring in a fully styled set?
Of course! We love when other photographers/videographers get creative and encourage you to make the space your own! We do recommend that you make sure to account for setup and breakdown times when booking out Studio J. You will be automatically charged for any overtime.
Is there space for hair & makeup?
Yes! Our studio has an ample amount of windows that bring in natural light. We also have an open air makeup desk and a private dressing room for guests or other vendors. Our building is also filled with awesome businesses! There is a salon down the hall from us that is available for hair & makeup - check out Just Cuz.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
We are! The main entrance to the building in on 2nd Street, across from Lowell In & the parking ramp. Once you enter the building, you'll see an elevator that you can take to the second floor. From there, head down the long hallway, past the restrooms and you'll find the studio on your left.
